Inhalt:
DT// Im Kurs Musiktheorie 2 werden die Teilbereiche Musikgeschichte (Klassik, Romantik, Impressionismus, Expressionismus & 2. Wiener Schule), Musiktheorie (Einführung in die Harmonielehre), Gehörbildung und musikalische Notation weiter vertieft. Anhand von zunehmend komplexere Rhythmus-Etüden wird das rhythmische Vokabular erweitert und entwickelt. Im Teil Musikgeschichte soll ein Überblick über europäische Kunstmusik im 18. und 19. Jahrhundert vermittelt werden. Hier werden viele Musikbeispiele vorgestellt und kontextualisiert - u.a. auch mit dem Ziel, die Fähigkeit zu Diskussion und Kommunikation über Musik (mit korrekter Terminologie) zu entwickeln.
Die Kurse Musiktheorie 1-3 sind praxisorientiert und zielen darauf ab, Kompetenzen und Fähigkeiten auszubilden und zu schulen, die für die eig ene künstlerische Praxis im Umgang mit Musik von Relevanz sind.
EN// In the Music Theory 2 course, the areas of music history (Classical, Romantic, Impressionism, Expressionism & 2nd Viennese School), music theory (introduction to harmony), ear training and musical notation are further deepened. The rhythmic vocabulary is expanded and developed by means of increasingly complex rhythm etudes. The music history section aims to provide an overview of European art music in the 18th and 19th centuries. Many examples of music are presented and contextualised - also with the aim of developing the ability to discuss and communicate about music (using correct terminology).
The courses Music Theory 1-3 are practice-orientated and aim to develop and train skills and abilities that are relevant to the student's own artistic practice in dealing with music.

DT// Im Kurs Musiktheorie 3 stehen verschiedene Strömungen der Neuen Musik des 20./21. Jahrhunderts im Vordergrund (2. Wiener Schule, Musique concrète, Serielle Musik, Aleatorik u.v.m. bis hin zu aktueller zeitgenössischer Musik). Studierende analysieren und diskutieren das Gehörte und beschäftigen sich mit den Scores um ggfs. auch Inspiration für eigene Scores und Performances zu entwickeln.

EN// The Music Theory 3 course focuses on various currents in 20th/21st century New Music (2nd Viennese School, musique concrète, serial music, aleatoric music and much more, right up to current contemporary music). Students analyse and discuss what they have heard and study the scores in order to develop inspiration for their own scores and performances.
